The 90’s are back

The 90’s are back

I’m already back from my short trip to Italy and now I´m definitely in real summer mood. Even if the temperature in Lazise, a sweet town at the Lago di Garda, was not that summer-like, the mediterranean feeling left me desiring more –  more sunshine, more warmth, more summer.

However, until shorts and a slight cropped top are sufficient to get through the whole day here in Germany it still takes some weeks, so I tried another comfortable current spring/summer trend: The dungarees. Yes, the 90s are back.
I already hated dungarees when I was little and my opinion on this fashion trend has never changed. But this season, after more than 20 years have passed when I was wearing my last dungarees, I finally decided to try it again. We started a new cooperation with FASHION5, a young fashion label I collaborated already with about 0ne year ago, and I combined two different models my way. And behold – I liked it indeed.

The jeans overall is my favorite. I like to wear it with a crop top or a casual shirt underneath:

I added a bandana to the denim outfit. Currently you can find this accessory everywhere, mainly in red and blue. I think it´s also part of the 90s/2000s trend, when teens used to wear it as neckpiece or hair jewelry. A pretty cool “new-old” trend was (re)created for 2016.

The black pair is also nice and fits like a glove. However black is no spring color, that´s why I prefer the denims.

Both pairs look great as well with heels as with sneakers and other flats, and not “ridiculous” (this is what my boyfriend used to call this trend) at all. Well, so much for that. I tried out a for me previously cruel trend and outed myself as a fan. 🙂

Which combination do you like more?
